Presque Isle Casino
Presque Isle Downs and Casino offer you a variety of gambling opportunities and betting excitement. Whether it is playing the slots or enjoying the horse races, they have plenty for you to do. One exciting addition to Presque Isle Casino the summer of 2007 is live racing. The one mile track will be completed in August and is scheduled to open for September racing. The beginning schedule will feature 25 days of live racing, and in 2008 will go to a 5 month, 5 day a week schedule. This year, competitors from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan and Kentucky will compete Wednesday through Monday. You will be able to make wagers on both the main level and the second floor. If you are not playing the games or watching the races, you can always grab a bite to eat at the Presque Isle Casino. La Bonne Vie reminds you of a 1920s Speakeasy, and offers traditional and international fare, a wine vault, custom plates, and Egyptian combed cotton linens. Reservations are suggested for this restaurant. Bootlegger’s Bar, Edson’s Barallow, and the Speakeasy Saloon allows you to get drinks. The Clubhouse lets you get casual dining favorites with a great view of the racetrack. Or you can visit the Triple Crown Buffet that offers a variety of dishes throughout the day, including prime rib every night. |
